Matching Colors Activity: Car Wheels
The "Colorful Car Wheels" color matching activity, designed for toddlers aged 1–2, helps consolidate knowledge about colors and develop fine motor skills. The task also requires the skill of recognizing and relating different objects by the same color. The necessary game pieces from the set — cars and wheels of different colors — are cut out. There are 8 cars of different colors and 8 pairs of wheels to be mounted on the cars. The goal of the task is to match each car with wheels of the right color. First, the cars are laid out in front of the toddler, who is asked to name their colors. Then the child is invited to "repair" the car by matching the appropriate colored wheels to it.
