"Cactus" – Color Match File Folder Activity
The "Cactus" activity is a file folder game for preschoolers designed to teach colors while developing logic and fine motor skills. The task is to match the colors of the cacti and pots to complete the game sheet. Separate the cactus pieces on their own page. Through this game, young learners can practice 18 different colors. Laminating the game sheet along with the pots and cactus cards, and attaching Velcro to each card, is recommended for durability. Shuffle and turn over all the colored cactus cards and ask the child to pick one. The child's task is to name the color and find a pot of the same color to match the cactus. Join the matching pieces together and arrange all the cards on the game board.
